In time for the Christmas season, PLDT Home Fiber is rolling out a free speed boost. Subscribers of PLDT Fiber Unli, Fiber Plus, and Fiber Unli All plans received an email regarding this deal.

Along with this, PLDT Home encouraged Fibr users to update their details. It detailed the steps to start receiving deals:
- Step 1: Log in or create your myHome account, then link your PLDT account (https://my.pldthome.com).
- Step 2: Allow us to send you updates.
However, the email from PLDT Home doesn't detail whether the free speed boost is permanent or temporary. It also didn't indicate when it will last.
Several PLDT Fiber users on Facebook groups started noticing an increase in their speeds, especially fast download and upload speeds on Speedtest, on December 14, 2023.
To recall, PLDT Fiber has done several free speed upgrades on its plans, notably in February 2023, wherein it offered up to 2x free speed boost.
